Fall Fly Fishing in Wyoming

If your head is filled with visions of fly fishing in Wyoming this fall, Red Rock Ranch has just the deal for you! Book a stay in one of our two, select cabins during our non-guest season (mid to late September through early November) and reap the benefit of our off-season rates!

Freshwater fly fishing in Wyoming is some of the best there is. Our lightly populated state is home to more than 27,000 miles of pristine, fishable waters, packed with a variety of species. Yellow perch, walleye, small and largemouth bass, brookies, northern pike, brown trout, rainbow trout, and more.

Here at Red Rock Ranch, just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, we’re surrounded by amazing fly fishing opportunities. Both the Snake River and the Gros Ventre River are within easy reach, and the ranch even has its own fly fishing stream. 2.5 miles of clear, sparkling Crystal Creek cuts right through the ranch, complete with its treasure of cutthroat trout.

In season, Red Rock Ranch offers a variety fishing activities. Guests can enjoy fly-fishing clinics, go on expert guided fishing trips, and more. Come the off-season, everything on the ranch closes down. Everything except for our two special, off-season cabins, that is!

Fall Fly Fishing Cabins

The Simpson House is a larger, three bedroom, two-bath cabin, also with a full kitchen. This cabin sleeps up to eight with one king bed, one queen, three twins, and a pullout couch.

Fall Fly Fishing in Wyoming

Red Rock Ranch is an excellent base camp for any and all of your late-season Wyoming adventures. Our remote location, surrounded by Bridger Teton National Forest in the Gros Ventre Mountains, is exceedingly peaceful and unspoiled.

Beyond all the great, area fishing, we’re also home to miles of hiking trails. Trails that covert to fantastic cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails once the snow flies.

It is important to remember that, during the off-season, our guest ranch will be closed. That means no guest ranch amenities, activities, or kitchen services will be available during your stay.

You’ll also want to make sure you have a Wyoming State fishing license and that you’re up to date on state fishing rules and regulations.
