RRR got its start in the late 1800’s as a working cattle ranch, and so it was for 80 years. Then, in the mid 1970’s, the ranch was purchased by a Illinois couple named David and Deborah MacKenzie.
The MacKenzie’s so loved the area and ranch life that they wanted to share it with others. It was their vision and hard work that resulted in what Red Rock Ranch still is today: one of the very best Wyoming vacation spots around!
When David and Deborah retired, their daughter Carolyn Stimmel and her husband Harley took over. Keeping the ranch in the family assured that the MacKenzie family tradition of a genuine and quality guest ranch experience continues on.
