Rates & Availability

Given our limited accommodations and remote location, rebooking cabins on short notice is generally not feasible. To confirm your reservation, a 35% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to your arrival. Should you need to cancel before March 1st, your deposit will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations made after March 1st will result in forfeiture of the deposit, and you will be responsible for the full base reservation cost. If you book within 60 days of your stay, you will be expected to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

This cancellation policy applies in all circumstances, including illness, travel delays, or family emergencies. No credits are provided for early departures, partial room cancellations, or missed portions of your stay.

Management may allow reservations to be rolled over to the next year on a case-by-case basis, any rollovers are subject to that season’s rates.

If RRR cancels a reservation for reasons within its control, the deposit will be fully refunded. RRR is not liable for extra costs such as travel, lodging, equipment, or medical expenses.

In the event that RRR must cancel a reservation as a result of an occurrence of force majeure: acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, extraordinary and destructive weather conditions directly affecting RRR’s ability to safely provide lodging or activities, acts, laws, orders or restraint of government, pandemic or outbreaks of sickness or disease, terrorism, war, sabotage or vandalism, accident, civil disorder or riots within the RRR’s operating areas or directly affecting RRR’s performance, or any other circumstances beyond RRR’s control, no refunds will be given.

For that reason, we strongly encourage the purchase of “Cancel for any Reason” Travel insurance (including medical and evacuation insurance).

This insurance typically covers any costs incurred by you because or because of cancellation of your trip, whether due to your circumstances, or RRR’s. If interested, please contact Dude Ranchers Association website (https://duderanch.org/plan-your-visit/travel-insurance/) for further information.

Payments & Billing:

• 15% gratuity for our staff will be added to the base rate.
• 7% sales tax and a 5% lodging tax will be added to applicable portions of your bill.
• Red Rock Ranch includes a 0.3% Heritage Preservation Fee on your bill. (https://duderanch.org/history/preservation-fund-program/)
• For payment, we accept checks, credit cards (a 3.5% processing fee applies), wire/bank transfers, and cash.
• A credit card is required at the time of check-in and will be charged for any unpaid balances or damages.

Damages:
Although it seldom happens;  a damage charge may be added to the final bill for damages incurred at the ranch, including: ranch equipment, facilities, cabin repairs, or heavy cleaning.
