Fall Brings a Peaceful Beauty to Red Rock Ranch
Our Kids Program ends August 25, and then we move to an adults only dude ranch Wyoming through the middle of September. It’s a time for the grown-ups to truly relax away from it all. When the high alpine peaks that surround Red Rock Ranch become bare of snow, and freshly cut hay is being stacked in the barn, these are a few of the subtle clues in the high country that Summer is concluding. As this transformation develops, a new season awaits you at Red Rock Ranch.
The Inevitable Call to Fall at Red Rock Ranch
Towards the end of August the ranch receives the imminent call of Mother Nature, who consistently reminds our peaceful valley that fall is approaching. Flawlessly shifting, it is time for that spectacular season some call the Indian Summer.
As this incredible shift unfolds, guests at the ranch have the privilege to witness the true spectrum of the of multitude of colors that are ever-changing. Quaking aspen trees quickly transform green fluttering spade-shaped leaves to vibrant amber, saffron, coral, and tangerine. Pockets of these brilliant newly colored groves of trees announce their presence with their recent change. The Crystal Creek has now decided to move low and leisurely. The native Cutthroat trout make modifications, while lumbering in deep pools of clear water.
Brisk mornings and pleasantly mild afternoons allow for guests at Red Rock to savor nature’s shift in the high country. As this flawless exhibit of change begins to unfold, join us this Fall at Red Rock so you and your family can bear witness to these miracles in nature.
