AT RED ROCK RANCH
OUR GUESTS RETURN
YEAR AFTER YEAR
Bringing Families Together
There is something about a dude ranch that brings families together.
People tend to leave their everyday routines behind, and everyone
unplugs. That's no easy feat in today's environment.
Here at the ranch, our days are filled with adventure and discovery. Whether it’s taking a quiet hike on our nearby trails, casting a line in the pristine trout waters, or exploring the red rock mountains on horseback – the ranch life serves up a mix of quiet solitude and downright belly-laughing fun.
Danielle Conkling Story
After 4 summers (since 2019) our family and friends already know that Red Rock Ranch is our happy place and home away from home. We just keep going back, and every time it feels like coming home. The Stimmel family and their wonderful staff and herd of horses welcome us with the same familiar kindness and hospitality we look forward to every year. We bring new friends every time, and they too have become part of the RRR family.
Red Rock is where our kids can roam free independently and safely, with new and old friends exploring new things and looking forward to the traditions and activities such as fly fishing and the early breakfast ride and pancake toss. As young kids they learned to bike at the ranch and help put the cows back into their pens on horseback. Interests and passions such as wolves, fishing and horsemanship are deepened thanks to expertise available at the ranch and the community. We cherish and chuckle remembering our cow sorting skills on display.
We love Red Rock, and every time we wonder which horses we will ride as we get ready for our journey to Wyoming!

Amanda Fox Story
Thanks to my wonderful parents, our large-ish family (14 at last visit) has been to RRR six times over the past 8 years. It is our time to be
together, relish in the gorgeous surroundings, laugh, ride, and just be together. It's heaven for all of us - ages 2 to 82! The combined
group of children of my sisters and myself have scrambled over every rock, slept in a teepee, put on a play, and had adventures they
will remember forever. They consider it a home away from home. My father loves to sit in a chair on the back porch after a day of riding
and just stare at the mountains in awe and gratitude.
Though we are deeply moved by the landscape and all love horseback riding, it's the family atmosphere that means the most to us. The
ranch staff - from the owners to the wranglers to the kitchen staff - make you feel not only at home but cared for and part of their
beautiful family, if only for a week. Our love for Red Rock Ranch has led us to choose to celebrate two 80th and one 16th birthday there
and the staff went out of their way to make each occasion special.
We are so grateful to have found Red Rock Ranch.
