There’s nothing quite as relaxing and rewarding as a day of freshwater fly fishing, and Wyoming is home to some of the best around. Wyoming may be lightly populated with people – but not with fish! Our state offers more than 27,000 miles of pristine, fishable waters. Lakes, rivers, and streams surging with yellow perch, walleye, small and largemouth bass, brookies, northern pike, brown trout, rainbow trout, and much more.
As I stated above, The Red Rock Ranch is surrounded by amazing fly fishing opportunities. Our locations just outside of Jackson Hole, WY puts both the Snake River and the Gros Ventre River within easy reach.
Even better, our ranch is blessed with its own fly fishing stream. Crystal Creek cuts right through the ranch, offering 2.5 miles of clear, sparkling waters and a healthy population of cutthroat trout.

Fall Fly Fishing Cabins
Two, select cabins are made available from mid to late September through early November.
The Nez Perce is a two bedroom, one-bath cabin that sleeps up to five. It features one king bed, two twin beds, and a pullout couch.
The Simpson House is a larger, three bedroom, two-bath cabin that can sleep up to eight. Sleeping options include one king bed, one queen bed, three twins, and a pullout couch.
Both cabins include electric heat, gas or wood stoves, a coffee maker, refrigerator, and fully furnished kitchens. See more details here.
During the off-season, the guest ranch is closed and no guest ranch amenities, activities, or kitchen services are available. What you will have is an exceedingly peaceful and unspoiled, base of operations in the Gros Ventre Mountains.
Beyond all the fantastic area fishing, you’ll also find miles of hiking trails. Trails that become excellent cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, once the snow flies.
Prospective anglers will also want to make sure to have a current Wyoming State fishing license and good knowledge of Wyoming state fishing rules and regulations.
